Food Futures Co-Lab

Two days of imagination, collaboration, and ideation.

Over two days, participants of all backgrounds and skillsets will think about the tools needed to build the food systems of their dreams...

At the end of the workshop we will develop prototypes of our projects with our community technicians. These projects will then be shared with the wider open source community.

Who We're looking for 10 participants with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. We highly encourage those working within food systems (restaurants, farming etc) to apply. We are able to provide 5 scholarships of $500 each to those who need support in taking time off of work to participate.

TBA, Toronto, Canada
This will be an in-person event due to the conditions of our grant.

Note: Location is not wheelchair accessible, however we are able to provide other accessibility services to participants on request.

We'll be spending two days, listening and engaging in conversation w our guest speakers and exploring new ideas through activities.

At the end of the two days, 10 participants will have developed 2 ideas informed by lived experience and additional wisdom from our guest speakers. We will send off to our blueprints to collaborating technicians to produce the first iterations of our tools under a creative commons license.

All participants, speakers, and technicians will be listed in the attribution process (or named anonymous).

We'll also be putting together a "how-to" of our tools so that anyone can build upon our knowledge.
