Xavier-Lewis Palmer (He/Him) is an Engineering PhD Candidate (Biomedical Engineering Concentration) at Old Dominion University. Secondarily, he is pursuing a master’s degree in Cybersecurity. His prior degrees include an MS in Biotechnology, BA in Philosophy (Electrical Engineering Technology Minor), and BS in Biology (Biomedical Engineering Minor).

His experience, education, and published work encompasses tissue engineering, programming, device design, device fabrication, cell culture, AI/ML, advanced microscopy, cancer biology, biomaterials, tissue characterization, and more. Additionally, he contributes to and supports multiple educational and health-focused initiatives across the world. In general, Xavier-Lewis presents open, holistic support towards projects in biotechnology, healthcare, educational spaces, bio- and cyber- security, along with their intersections.
