Day in a INAKA life: food ways in the Japanese countryside

I am a Zainichi Korean-Canadian living in the foothills of rural Japan, where the mountains become the sea. I work with traditional food skills as a way to move in rhythm with the land and it’s seasons, remember ancestral ways, weave together community and reclaim food as the everyday people’s medicine.
